A six mile circular walk reaching to the summit of Tre'r Ceiri and Yr Eifl (sometime referred to in English as The Rivals). The unfrequented summits of Yr Eifl offer magnificent views over the Llyn Peninsula, Caernarfon Bay and Anglesey and on a clear day the Wicklow Hills of Ireland. Tre'r Ceiri is the site of the largest (and arguably best) Bronze Age fortress in the British Isles and was occupied until AD 78. Most of the Cytiau (huts) remain making it a fascinating site. We will also walk past the imposing Yr Eifl granite quarry above the village of Trefor.
